2008 Regional Competition: "Waves of Sound"

When: May 2nd-3rd
Where: Peabody Auditorium, Daytona Beach

All competing members will be housed in the Plaza Resort & Spa.

Checkin

Hotel check in time is 4PM. Quartet competition begins at 4:30 PM, Friday, possibly earlier, if more than 24 quartets are competing. Competing quartets will want to check in Thursday for a less stress-filled day.

Chorus members will want to check in Thursday, or check their luggage with the bell desk before Quartet Competition begins.

Come Prepared on Friday

We all want to be there to support our chorus quartets. Remember! More than likely, we will have a rehearsal after quartet competition Friday night.

Event Fees

Registration Fees are $55 for competing members. Marge VanDyke will be collecting.

Single Event tickets are:

  • $25 for Quartet Competition;
  • $25 for Chorus Competition

There will be no Saturday Night Show of Champions. Instead, there will be a huge party beginning at 9 PM with a cash bar in the hotel ballroom.
